When Curved Air did "Soon" for the main Y&T album (Fernando and I are so excited that we got to produce and play with Curved Air!!!), keyboardist Robert Norton had put together a beautiful ambient instrumental with keyboard pads and an acoustic guitar solo by Kit Morgan. I embellished that section with some ambient effects, Mellotron and a few nods to Yes moments from Close To The Edge and Relayer. So, for the Special Edition I took the ambient keys and fx I did and extended it turning it into a fun trippy segue piece bringing in bits and pieces of Fernando's guitar parts. - Dave
