1.
To The Eye of the Storm Lyrics & Music by Dave Kerzner Red hail Rewind Dark clouds Fill your mind Peace lives down the line Through a field of littered mines War lost Tongue tied Big blast The skies cried Peace lives down the line Through a field of littered mines And you race to the eye of the storm Burnout Flash flood Octane In your blood Peace lives down the line Through a field of littered mines It's safe in the eye of the storm There’s chaos all around But you know It’s calm where you are It’s calm where you are

Dreaming in LA Lyrics & Music by Dave Kerzner A little tale about living in LA
 Fancy cars and envy
 Spinning wheels and breaks
 Tommy got a six string
 Sheila got a G-string
Money, fame and a pipe dream
Whatever it takes All for 15 minutes or flavor of the week
Tommy became a rocker
 Sheila became a freak
 When they finally met
There were sparks in the air
A chance to hit the big time
and do it as a pair

 Don’t wanna be
 Waiting for fortune and fame
Don’t wanna be Bound by the rules of the game Don’t want to be
 A poser with a name
Dreaming in LA Tommy got a record deal
 Went right up his nose
 Sheila was an “actor”
 On reality shows
They dropped him off the label
They pushed her out the door
They were hanging out on Sunset
Begging for more Don’t wanna be
 Waiting for fortune and fame
Don’t wanna be Bound by the rules of the game Don’t want to be
 A poser with a name
Dreaming in LA Don’t wanna be
Don’t wanna be a wanna be

 Eleven years later
... They were sitting at a bar
 Came to a realization
 They weren’t getting too far
So they threw in the towel
They were done with LA
 Packed up their dreams
and faded away Don’t wanna be
 Waiting for fortune and fame
Don’t wanna be Bound by the rules of the game Don’t want to be
 A poser with a name
 Dreaming in LA
Lights. Camera. Action

Genevieve Lyrics & Music by Dave Kerzner Genevieve a mystical girl Who no one really knows A rare kind in this world And here’s how the legend goes She lived by the sea And men came there to please She lured them in with song And brought them to their knees The door was open for you Genevieve You lost your chance to make me believe The door was open to save your drifting soul What will it take to make you whole? Like a wolf in sheep’s clothing She’d smile when she lied Full of fear and loathing Unknown to the outside She fed on the brighter hopes of men A cold-hearted game She made bitter fools out of them And they left in shame The door was open for you Genevieve You lost your chance to make me believe The door was open to save your drifting soul What will it take to make you whole? Far away From across the sea I heard a sound Her voice was calling me Then she tore my ship apart Like a strange sadistic art Who could believe such cunning to deceive? An alluring creature with tricks up her sleeve So long Genevieve The door was open for you Genevieve You lost your chance to make me believe Make me believe The door was open to save your drifting soul What will it take to make you whole? Genevieve left a trail of love crimes And a wake full of woes Like a siren for these modern times And that’s how the legend goes But a word of warning to the wise Don’t be so bold As to look into her eyes She can turn your heart to stone To stone. So long Genevieve

Worlds Apart Lyrics & Music by Dave Kerzner I called out to reach you Cause I don’t know where to go Into the horizon
Or back to what I know You’re in my mind But I must break free Love so blind Yet it’s plain to see You’re worlds apart from me I’ve no sense of direction
Just away from what went wrong
You offer no redemption Where do I belong? You’re in my mind But I must break free Love so blind Yet it’s plain to see You’re worlds apart from me With our stars colliding
We survive somehow
Emerging from the fallout
There’s nothing left but now
All we feel
And there’s nothing left but now
There’s nothing left but now
Ohhh
You’re worlds apart from me
From me You’re worlds apart You’re worlds apart
You’re worlds apart
From me From me From me
5.
Dirty Girl Lyrics & Music by Dave Kerzner She waits tables at the pitstop grill open thru the night She’s got a devious mind and an innocent smile It was getting late with no luck finding a place nearby No hotels there for miles and miles Shift’s done She said she’d take me home with her alright She’s a willing party for anything that you desire Daddy’s not home so there’s no need to hide Just a creepy bro in the other room but he pays no mind She said it’s either this or you can sleep outside With the stars and one eye open all the time. She’s a dirty girl Repressed from her needs Dirty girl Willing to do the deed Dirty girl Are you ready to proceed? Dirty Girl I found myself in a sleeping bag under the midnight sky Like a camping trip of the stranger kind I was lonely so I chose to sit there and ponder why Some fast action or piece of mind? Or just fun and a good time? She’s a dirty girl Repressed from her needs Dirty girl Willing to do the deed Dirty girl Are you ready to proceed? Dirty Girl All she wants is some love And anyone will do Could it be a quick fix for the heart For someone passing through? Every week it’s the same Treats it like it’s a game And she plays it to win There’s trouble at home when she’s left alone Alcohol and sin Strip down She’s got Jesus on the wall And a cheeky brother down the hall No it’s not really weird at all She’s a dirty girl Repressed from her needs Dirty girl Willing to do the deed Dirty girl Are you ready to proceed? Dirty girl

Too Far Gone Lyrics & Music by Dave Kerzner Of all the paths to take You had to choose the one with ache Now you’re lost in nowhere’s land Can’t see home from where you stand Left to face your own device You went against some sound advice Underneath a shell that’s hollow A bitter truth that’s hard to swallow Looking ahead At endless lines Paved across the heart land mines Too far gone Too far gone Keep moving on Soon you will come back to life Too far gone Keep moving on Soon you will come back to life You hear the talk that hurts your pride What to do you must decide Pay a cost for being right And forfeit all to win that fight There’s no sense in feeling shame Neither side is all to blame Nothing can erase the pain Except the washing of the rain Looking ahead At endless lines Paved across the heart land mines Too far gone Too far gone Keep moving on Soon you will come back to life Too far gone Keep moving on Soon you will come back to life Looking ahead At endless lines Paved across the heart land mines Too far gone Too far gone Keep moving on Soon you will come back to life Too far gone Keep moving on Soon you will come back to life

about

"The Eye (Hi Res 24/96)" is a 6 song EP of tracks from my forthcoming solo concept album "Heart Land Mines Vol. 1" (out October 18th!). It features singles and highlights from the album mixed in Hi Res 24 bit 96k for the best quality stereo mix. Great for audiophiles and for anyone who wants to listen to the music in better than CD audio quality.

Note: These versions of the songs differ from the full album versions in that they lack the segue sound effects that normally connect all of the songs seamlessly on the main album. Each of these 6 tracks (plus bonus 7th track Radio Edit of "Eye of the Storm") are "stand alone" and don't crossfade into each other like on the main album.
